Welcome to the National University Center for Cybersecurity!

Welcome to the National University Center for Cybersecurity website. As part of the Department of Engineering and Computing (DOEC) in the College of Professional Studies, the center faculty and staff manage the Master of Science in Cybersecurity and the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity programs. Additionally our center promotes cybersecurity to the National University staff, the academic community, and the local community. In addition to the cybersecurity academic programs, our faculty and staff assist with integrating cybersecurity into non-cybersecurity curriculum. Our faculty and staff also provide advice and recommendations to the University Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). National University, which is among the largest private, nonprofit universities in California, is recognized as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security – one of only seven four-year institutions in California and the first in San Diego. This prestigious designation recognizes quality academic programs that prepare professionals to reduce cyber vulnerabilities.
